Default Performer X intake manifold no longer CARB legal?

I contacted Edelbrock to get the paperwork from them that says their intake manifold is 50 state street legal and apparently they are no longer CARB compliant. I purchased the intake manifold several years ago, when it was legal, and haven't had any issue. Wondering if anyone else has faced this issue now? The customer service rep for Edelbrock said to tell the smog tech to check Appendix K, but not sure how well that will fly.
