I currently have a Skunk2 obd2>obd1 harness and a 95 GSR ECU. I ran in on my '99 GSR with a I/H/E and ignition system. It made no change in my 1/4 mile times. The car did run richer. I would suggest waiting to do this with at least CTR cams and increase air flow, higher compression and a VTEC controller. The other plus is with the obd1 ECU sometimes it is cheaper to get new programs.

only do thi if you want to use something like hondata ro raise your redline/change timing. you can alter your fuel with an afc (yes i know hondata is better).

you plug the s300 into your laptop....it comes with a usb cable. if you want it to function like a obd2 car remove the s300 and put a stock ecu in, either way this is the WRONG section and you bumped a 13 year old thread. the info in this thread is so old it's a joke.

the cord is a "type b" go to Walmart and get a usb "A" (regular port)to usb type B google that if you don't know what they look like. it may not actually be a s300 rather a junk ecu running crome(old school junk) check that then see.... the s300 unit can be sold for around $500ish.
