Toyota's reliability has nothing to do with the use of Denso parts.

If you were to get any Honda vehicle, replace non-Denso parts with a Denso brand equivalent, the reliability of the vehicle would not increase at all.

You should do a little more reading of the links you post....Vehicle 11 of 11:

"If you’re curious as to why Toyota and Lexus leads on the reliability study, Consumer Reports attributes it to the fact that the automaker tends to introduce new technologies slowly and on proven platforms."

I apologize to the OP for the mess this thread has become... any Japanese part that is compatible will do fine for our cars.... Hell the EP3 has a bunch of Bosch parts... Not sure what Honda was thinking because Bosch is German, the EP3 was put together in the UK... but all the Bosch parts say they are made in Japan... around the world and back... around the world and back...

Where a part is MADE has nothing to do with a companies country if orgin.

It doesnt surprise me that honda uses bosch stuff. In the 70s and 80s almost every efi car used some form of the bosch Jetronic efi system

No one here is being a dick. All i'm doing is responding to a statement you made. Why are your feelings hurt? If it's the enlarged font on my response, thats how it was formatted when I copy and pasted it from the link you posted. I didn't type it out.

I saw nothing more than a simple debate... ?

Understood, but do you understand the dilemma of making German parts in Japan and than shipping them to Europe to put a car together? That was my point not country of origin... Read ....

I think some people come off as that because they are frustrated with people not searching before posting a basic thread that can be answered by the FAQ

OK.... So how is that relevant to anything you or anyone else has posted about on this thread?

And just for future reference... Denso doesn't make a distributor cap for the 94-01 Integra. I guess thats one more unreliable part we're all going to have to live with.

TEC does though! (Thats because they're the OEM supplier to Honda for the 94-01 Integra "dizzy".)

C'Mon man,

Everyone here said use what the book says besides a guy saying Denso is no good and one suggesting champion "shrug"

There is no better part than the OEM part! Simple as that.
