I got myself some axxis ultimate pads and autozone rotors. When i first installed them last month I forgot to hit the rotors with brakes cleaner which then caused juttering when stopping.

Since then I took off the rotors cut them just a little and sanded the pads down real good to remove the gunk. Now my front right wheel is making the sound that pads do when they are on the wear indicator. It happens with no brake pressure at all... wtf?

Or is this normal for these pads, cause ive read some posts that would indicate that...

Sometimes they will squeak because there is dust on them. Did u put the little sqeak plate things back on?

tear it apart and clean everything then get a product from napa called silglye and apply it any where where the pad touches the caliper and where the caliper bolts on to the hub that should get rid of the squeel its also good for belts and conditioning rubber seals

I did blow the lower ball joint on that side of the axle but I dont think that is causing this. I dont think its the anti squeel cause I applied it. It makes the same sound as when the wear indicator is getting hit by the rotor.

Did you bed the new pads correctly?

Yes, 8 stops from 60 to 10 then 4 from 80 to 10 (performance pads only)

well i had the same problem with my wilwood brake kit and it just ended up being me using crappy anti squeen since i have started using silglye i havent had the problem anymore
