Default New Dizzy, No Vtec

Hey,

I recently replaced my distributor and now my vtec won't engage. I have a ls-v with a CTR top and b18a bottom. The car runs great under 5.5k, then when vtec is suppose to kick in, the engine revs, but doesn't produce any power. The rpm needle goes all the way to redline, but the motor doesn't make power. It feels and acts like the clutch is slipping in vtec (that's the closest thing I can compare it to.) The dizzy is suppose to be from a 99 gsr, and the numbers match my old dizzy. Is it possible I have a non-vtec distributor? I haven't tuned the car since putting it on there, but it seems like vtec should engage regardless. Any help you guys can give would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe you knocked off a connection to the VTEC solenoid perhaps?...or forgot to plug something back in?
