Default Need Help...Cannot Figure Out Problem

Last week I went to this place to change my brake pads. Ever since the steering wheel has been really loose, and when I move it a couple inches in either direction when the car is moving, it doesn't affect where my car is going. Another problem I've been having is that the car just doesn't feel like the same car when I take turns...its unstable and I feel like I have to turn the steering wheel more now to take the same turns I used to take.

One last bit of info, the car just feels very unresponsive now. For example, when you dodge pot holes and you turn your steering wheel quickly in one direction, my car just doesn't react as quickly as it used to the change in direction. I really have no idea what it could be, and its stressing me out cause its really annoying to drive it in this condition so any help or input would be great. I wanna get it fixed asap!

ok i'm no expert in that problem, but does your car have power steering? Also just jack the front of the car up, crawl under there and look at all the steering equip. see if anything looks out of place, thats the only thing you can do, or best thing to do.

Jack the front end up so the wheels are just off the ground then grab the tire and shake it left to rite if its got a lotta play in it get ur car looked at tie rods (inner outter) and ur rack. I dont think that the brake change did anything to ur car seeing as how they only take the tires off. Make sure that the lugs are tight them dumba$$ brake and tire tech are retarded ive had them not torque lugs down before and get a few miles and the tire startes working itself loose (i always ask to torque the lugs myself)

I bet you $5 those mechs messed something up or loosened something so you can come back and pay more for something they did on purpose!!! i see it so much!! bastards.. it sounds like your rack and pinion may be loose or something around the control arms i think they forgot to torque some bolts down if they took your hubs or rotors out. jack up the car check the lugs try to move the tires to see if its loose then examine all your suspention parts shocks, lower control arm camber ect.. somethings loose and will get worse if not fixed or just take it back and say somethings wrong and you guys better fix it! cause it wasnt like this before! i had a shady mech forget to bolt down my dist and it came off on the freeway!!! **** happens gl!
