Re: (rider07)
I Don't Know If It Is The Main Relay But Right By Your Computer Theres A Relay Looks Like A Breaker Hit It A Couple Of Times And If Your Car Starts Than Thats The Problem.

A bad main relay will causes symptoms of no-start-turnover like you're describing. A bad ignition switch can also be the culprit. However based on what you're describing, it is very likely the main relay. Both are very common problems with our vehicles. Your main relay is located in the driver side kick panel of your vehicle near the fuse box assembly. It's held on with one 10mm bolt which attaches the main relay bracket to the inside body of the car. There is also a thick brown cable that runs from the ignition switch to the relay also.
If you want to test to see if it is indeed the main relay, you can bypass the main relay by providing direct power to the fuel pump and then cranking the vehicle. However if you're not technically inclined with it, I would not recommend it. The main relay is designed as a fail-safe device to prevent damages to the fuel pump.

You can also disassemble the main relay and see if it smells like it's burnt. There are two soldered terminals on the board that over a period of time, the solder starts to break up and eventually burn out. If you know how to solder, you can take your old main relay and resolder the board and save yourself some money.

Well a basic rule of diagnosing is you start with the simpler and existing common problems first.
Not saying that your ignitor is or isn't defective, but with the symptoms you're describing, it's more than likely your main relay.
Here's some statistics to help you out, I sell on average of one igniter for ever 10 main relay I sell.

Re: (rider07)
I could be wrong but I had this problem in the integra. I was told to do this. when you turn the key to the on position, check to see if the check engine like comes on. If is doesn't, then your relay is bad. like everyone else said, I would start with the relay first. the go bad all time due to heat. It's a black box with a 10 mm nut/bolt holding it on. look directly under your dash on the driverside. I think it's closer to the left side(clutch pedal) then the right side(gas pedal). If you stick your head all the way under there until you see everything, you can't miss it. I hope this is helpful. good luck.

Re: (rider07)
Hey buddy, I am glad you started this discussion.
I was having the same problem, I gave the main relay a few taps with a screw driver handle, and the engine turned over and runs. I removed the relay, opened it up, its all burned out.
New part cost me $70, got it the next day in the store, and vwalla; vehicle runs like it did @ 150 thousand miles.
Thanks for all the info guys; without the help I prob would have taken a lil wash @ a mechanic.
