Alright h-t ill try and keep it short and to the point.. a few months ago now, after a night of driving a little aggresivly the next day I noticed a very slight tap.. or ting from under the hood.
after some investigation after removing the plug wires, valve cover.. I noticed the spark plug tunnel on cyl ONE had filled up with oil from a bad seal. new gasket and spark plug well gaskets and plugs.
its been about 8 months and iv continued to drive the vehicle,, some times harder then others.
The noise has not changed or gotten more aggresive whats so ever.. if i use a "stephascope" its most well pronounced right behind the crank pulley. It gets quiter the higher I go toward the head.. also quiter the further toward the Transmission I go.
There is no oil pressure loss.. there is no compression lost.. I just did a Valve adjustment with no significant change. all valve lash was a little tight.. she definetly seems to run much better since the adjustment but no change as far as the noise.

p.s. its most well pronounced under very light throttle right about 2200 rpm every time.. goes away through rpm band with decent throttle.. WOT pulls great but I can hear it.. faint.. but its there.
Car runs absolutly great, but im petrified everytime I drive.. Now that i can have her down I really wanna get to the bottom of it.
Enigne is a 94 jdm B16 w CTR pistons and a block guard.. bone stock other than that.

Retorque the crank pully bolt for starters. A video with the sound may help.
