my slow db1 build
bought in december 2011, car was totalled from the front and left side, the motor ran great and it was 100% stock. but i remembered the old episode of MTV true life im a street racer and the kid on there eugene had a really nice 91 4dr..so i picked it up as my new dd..i dont have any pics of it crashed cuz i immediately changed the entire front end to a bronze color one..thats where we will begin..
nothing fits rite cuz the radiator support is bent to hell. but then i added a type r red honda badge
did some maintnence, changed the cam seal, plugs, oil valve cover gasket, all that good ****
then next was some cheap coilovers from a buddies car..
and then an ebay cold air intake..

Re: my slow db1 build
then i sold the car, went threw 3 others and eventually wanted this one back, got it back same was it was when it left lol
so i started rite away, new short shifter, suede boot, weighted ****, poly bushings for shifter and entire master bushing set also changed my wheel since my entire car is badged as honda
then i found some oem goodness of stock floor mats and an oem trunk lip spoiler
during bushing kit realized i need all new ball joints so ordered them, then also ordered yonaka coilovers, those will all be here soon. i am also working on currently making a set of side skirts from a 95 accord fit lol it will look good when done but its alot of work so far

Re: my slow db1 build
The car has come quite a ways man. Its looking pretty good. Sorry to hear about the medical retirement, I hope you are doing alright healthwise. This reminds me a lot of my '93, especially with the white and overspray lol.
What color are you planning on painting her? I have always loved white on DBs. The pearl white from the TL would look damn nice.
