Change them now!!!

Believe me that when they break down and actually snap in half or in pieces, you will be stranded and it can happen anytime...

I learn from hard mistakes.

autozone rebuilds are like 120 each but when you bring your core back(the broken one) you get like 60 bucks back. i think they end up being like 70 bucks each and its a pretty easy fix if you have a helping hand. good luck....and change em soon.

theres a place in pasadena called axt. if you bring him your axle, hell only charge you $45 for a rebuilt and theyre good quality. both my axles are axt rebuilds, never had a problem. better than autozone, because, while they are guaranteed for life, i hear a lot of guys talking about how they dont last. give axt a call.

Out of my 4 pairs of axles, I usualyl repalce them right away cause I snapped them into pieces usually right away, but the very first set was clicknig for prolly about 2-3 months before I decided to fix it. It all depends really.. my susters axles in ehr auto Accord was clickngi straight for 2 years before we replaced it LOL. Then again.. old accord with no pwoer and an auto tranny that won't try to break teh tires loose at redline prolyl also pro longs life.

If you can find some one that has already replaced their axels and use there warranty. Normally they offer life time warranty.

i work on alot of cars on the side.. outside my normal 9-5... so i save all my recipits.. and now with autozone, i have exchages for SOHC 92-00's, and DOHC 88-01 w/ and w/o ABS...

so i still charge people rebuild fee's, but now i dont' have parts cost.. cuz i save my recipits.
