Default '90 GS, 5-spd, B18a1 rpm surging at idle

Hi,

I posted the following some time ago….
“My 1990 Integra GS has begun to surge while idling in neutral, cold or hot, w no pressure on the accelerator. By surge I mean it bounces from 1000 rpm to 1750 and back again, just keeps bouncing off of 1000 to 1750. As soon as you put it into gear and move, it quits.”
And got a good response suggesting that I clean the IACV – Idle Air Control Valve, located on the rear of the intake manifold facing the firewall.

So, I've been looking for the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE as suggested. There is a part located where described but it doesn’t look right. The 1990 Accura Integra Service Manual says what I am looking at is the EACV as in 'Electronic'...I'm thinking this is not a good thing to spray w cleaner! I haven't priced it but maybe replace that...and maybe the PCV valve?

Other choice: Is there another name for the iacv?...does it contain something like a butterfly valve to control air flow?

Thanks a bunch,
Gary
