if you want to add vtec you have to do a LS-vtec. theres no other way around it.

spending $ on a manifold and other parts for a LS motor just isnt worth it to me.

if you dont have the $ to convert to LS-Vtec correctly or even swap a B16A motor then just leave it and accept your car for what it is..

having a LS swapped 96 civic is faster than most stock civics out there..

if u really want to make ur car faster, save up money and do it right.

Golden Eagle LSV conversion kit, ARP head studs/rod bolts, B16 or GSR head, chipped p28 or p30 ecu. I highly recommend ARP rod bolts due to running higher rpm's and the rods are usually the first thing to go.

And a new timing belt if you decide to use the 19 tooth water pump.

i think your just waiting for someone to tell u what u want to hear because everyone has given u options and advice and what not and u just ignore it. then come up with a new question.

you only want to spend a few hundred bucks and expect to be that much "faster" good luck man.

u cant do much with a few hundred bucks to an ls. or any motor for that matter to make respectable power. yah maybe an intake and a axleback muffler? but then what, you just turned your car into another fart can ricer.
just save up your money and do it right.

Just buy bolt ons. Everything else is going to be way more than you want to spend.
