it poped on yesturday, whats the diffrence between this and a check engine light? my brake fluid was a little low so i toped it off and the light is still on. any ideas?

Far as I know maintence lights are triggered by mileage, so even if you just recently changed your oil/fluids it will still go off at it's scheduled mileage (correct me if I'm wrong). You have to reset it.

alex is correct. This light is activated my an internal clock if you will that goes my millage indicated on the odometer. IT is just a reminder that its time for some recomended scheduled mantenence.

Someone show that picture that I think Yoshi drew ? Reach under the steering colum and hold the button when your ML is flashing and it will go away. Its just reminding you that you have a scheduled matinence approaching.

How many miles do you have ?

oh, that makes my christmas a lot better. thanks for the info. just under 128,xxx miles on the car another b18b was put in less than 1000 miles ago

the button is infront of ur right new just under the lip of the dash..its a lil square button..i talked to my honda guy and he said wen people bring there cars in..they call it a 75 dollar oil change....its no biggie...i would just reset it...and wen u hit ur next 7500 mile mark be prepared to do it again.....just another dummy light

timing belt snaped on the highway going 60mph. i bought a warrenty with the car and it covered the whole cost, except towing. only bad thing is i was without my car for a few weeks.
