maintance required light flashing

maintance required light flashing
ok yesterday when i turned on the car the maintance required light started flashing but it turns off after a few seconds. it does it everytime i turn on the car now. why is doing this? i changed my oil, oil filter and air filter about a 1000 miles ago any help would be appreciated

the car DOES NOT know you did an oil change, its just a reminder.
and no you dont have to replace anything
just hit the reset key under the steering column, you can do it while the car is on too.

That light will come on every 7,000 miles. Just hold in that button like everyone said to do above everytime it comes on. It can be done while the car is running.

I have a 02 honda civic. When I turn on car maintance required light flashes but then turns off. I heard a reset buttonjust needs to be pressed. But does anyone know where that button is located?
