LS pisons and rods, or bore and stroke
I'm interested in increasing power by changing out the piston heads and rods, or increasing the bore and stroke.
Would it be possible to put GSR or Typr R pistons in my LS block?
Has anybody here had any experience with this?
Or has anyone increased the bore or stroke of their engine?
If so, how much was the cost and what did you replace?
Thanks, and open to any suggestions for power increase

Re: LS pisons and rods, or bore and stroke
you can use a gsr crank and rods and fit them on some high compression pistons. get some 81.5mm p30 pistons or something of that nature. but the gsr crank is like destroking the LS and allowing you to rev higher on that bottom end. compliment that with a valvetrain and a stage2 cam and you'll be puttin down some real power. rebuild everything with ARP head studs and ARP rod bolts and you should be set with a chip and a tune. we've built a couple of these last year and they're very fun. LS-VTEC FTW!!!
use this it will help you put together arrangements of setups and figure out what kinda compression ratios you'll be lookin at.

when you put it back together don't go cheap with bearings. Clevite H bearings, OEM or ACL race. !!!Stay away from the POS king, topline and acl duraglide bearings.!!!
