Low fluctuating idle- 91 integra b16a
i've searched on here, hondaswap, team integra, g2ic , almost every forum and everything ive tried hasn't helped
I have a b16 in my da, upon cold start it will idle (around 1500-2000 rpms normal) while warming up the idle will some times drop down to 1200rpms then back up to 1500rpms, when idle finally settles it will for some reason idles normal (around 750-800rpms) and out of no where itll drop low (around 300-400pms) almost stalling out, and slowly repeat the process -_-, also while im coasting the idle will be high (around 1300-1400rpms) idk if thats normal or not? any help would be greatly appreciated
I recently converted from obd0 to obd1 and the only code thrown is code 20 eld, but 91 integras didnt come with an eld.
Things ive done:
1. removed and cleaned iacv
2. removed, cleaned, adjusted fitv
3. replaced fitv
4. removed and cleaned throttle body
5. replaced throttle body gasket
6. swapped ecu's (was running jdm p30, now have a usdm p30)
7. adjusted idle screw
8. replaced pcv valve
9. replaced vacuum lines
10. checked for vacuum leaks, spraying carb cleaner everywhere
11. set base idle with iacv unplugged, then plugged iacv back in and reset ecu
12. ive reset the ecu almost 100 times now
im just about outta ideas guys , once again any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Low fluctuating idle- 91 integra b16a
No, I'm not sure how to
But I fixed it
Turns out there was a huge exhaust leak in the middle of the 2pc header connection, I closed it up, adjusted the valves and now the idle sits perfectly at 750 Rpms
But for some reason when vtec engages in second gear it's perfect, pulls hard, but when I hit 3rd I hear it engage and then miss for a second, strange

Have you checked your ignition timing? If it is set at anything other than 14-18 degrees Before top dead center (BTDC, right? Maybe ATDC, I forget) then you will run into problems with how your motor runs...
