loud noise when turning
when i turn left there is a loud noise that sounds like metal on metal vibrating. it only happens when i turn left and only when im accelerating. if i just turn left there is no noise. also, it happens at 0-20km/h, but doesnt usually happen at greater than 20km/h.
i recently had both front wheel bearing replaced and replaced my front axle. the noise is still there... any suggestions.
my car is a 1996 integra gsr(if that matters)

Re: loud noise when turning (DC2ba)
but not when you're turning right? hmm. So if its not your axle or wheel bearing, then I would say maybe something to do with your brakes is rubbing on something? Its just a guess, but what I would do is take the wheel off and do some minor disassembly and look for loose/out of place parts and look for rub marks.
Also, I would put the wheel back on, put the front securely on blocks and turn the wheel to the left. Start the car and put it in about 2nd or 3rd gear and let it spin at idle. have a buddy blip the throttle to torque the drivetrain a bit while you sit up against the wheel and see if you can't determine where the sound is coming from!

sounds stupid but i know someone that had same problem and their lug nuts weren't all the way tightly torqued in a criss-cross fasion
