Default loose play in steering wheel? HELP PLEASE!

I just got done building my DC4. New motor, interior, body work, tucked, etc. Anyway before the car was mine it was ran off the road and bent the driver side lower control arm. So I've since replaced that, both lower ball joints, driver side tie rod end. Got a used power steering rack from a member on here, I looped it. But still a bit of play in the front end. What can be causing this? What else in the front end causes this that can be replaced? Thank you very much.

Check the inner tie rods, and try a rack guide adjustment.

What is a rack guide adjustment? Like an alignment? Cause I still haven't done that. Could that help?

Try to do this with the least amount of trips to the alignment shop. You can pop the outter tie rod out of the nuckle, and to test the inner tie rod...pull on the outter tie rod arm..if there's play, most likely the ball joint in the inner tie rod is shot, in that case it needs to be replaced. If neither of them are bad...pick up the 40mm wrench through Honda to do the rack guide adjustment...use the search function, there have been many people who have posted the exact steps in the Helms manual.

Also, if the tie rods are fine...get an alignment first, that may be all you need. If it's still not fixed, then do the rack guide adjustment.
