Lift points
Need to raise a 98 Gsr & put on jack stands - changing brake pads. Where are the front and rear lift points? I'm putting the jack stands on the point used by the sissor jack for tire changing.
Earlier posts mention the tow hooks, front and rear & the support under the radiator; can any one confirm?
Thanks

If you don't know where the points are, are you sure you can change your brake pads?

Re: Lift points (Deluzional)
If you've ever been under your car before then you would see there are 6 jack points on the car. One up front in the center. Tow hook in the back. 2 spots by the front and rear wheel on both sides of the car.

Re: Lift points (ssbgsr)
And I thought this was a friendly place! In my orginal post I basicly said I knew where the 4 on the sides of the car are, could I get a bit more of an exact description than "there is one in the front".

If you look under the front end of the car you will see a hump kinda. It's on the frame on the radiator support part. You can't miss it.

Re: Lift points (97RedTegGSR)
i've used all of the above mentioned places... but i tend to use the tow hooks. But if you are lookin for the center one in front there is an arrow pointing to that area under your car...
