Had the car for quite a bit of time, I'm in middle of a new build for it now. So that's where i'll start this thread off.
Motor out the car 2 months ago
On the stand it goes
My bedroom floor stacking with parts because garage is already filled with crap.
New OEM ITR wing for the car,
New ATI Super damper
New BDL Fuel rail
Competition stage 5 unsprung 4 puck, I've put about 600 miles on it
Some other stuff
Block hot tanked and honed. Shop couldn't get all the red paint off and it didn't clean up very good..
I did measuring with a new set of ACL race bearings I had, Here's the results for the mains.
I'll be going with OEM bearings for this build and target clearances are
Mains
1: .0015"
2: .0015"
3: .0017"
4: .0015"
5: .0015"
Rods
1: .0020"
2: .0020"
3: .0020"
4: .0020"
The new rings I am going with .0019" on upper compression ring and .0021" on the lower ring, .0015" on the oil ring. Going to be running on E85. If I was going pump gas I'd run alittle bit more loose but the E85 will make it run cooler so I can run tighter gaps.
My new piston rings and upgraded wrist pins just came in, Thanks to real street performance. They contacted me through honda tech on a thread I posted.
That's where I'm at right now. I got to get some tools to do the rings and I'm waiting on real street to send my new wrist pin locks.
Here's some more pics of the car for anyone interested.

In to see new numbers ! looks like an impressive part's list . for the body i'd defiantly get ride of the grill on the front and give it a drop other then that. clean car.
what did it make before you pulled the engine ?

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Power before it was removed is unknown, Only done a bit of street tuning on it and it wasn't ever dyno'd.
As far as the grille and dropping the car, I don't want to lower the car anymore because the civic I daily is pretty low and I think it's nice to not drive a car you have to watch out for bumps in every so often. The grille been on that car since I bought it and don't really have plans of removing it just because it's different. Some people like it some people don't. I'm not too much a fan of it but it's protected my intercooler from some decent sized hits. I think i'll just spray it black

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Anyways everything for the shortblock is here, Rotating assembly is going to shop next monday to get fully balanced, I've already got all the bearings ready to install and at the correct clearences, Shortblock should be assembled before to long. Going to be getting FiveOmotorsports 1600cc injectors and a Walbro E85 450LPH intank fuel pump with a aeromotive 30amp relay kit. All my clearences at are mains .0015" .0015" .0018" .0015" .0015" all Rod bearings are .0020" Just have to gap my rings and assemble, Rings are going to be .019" upper compression ring and .021" lower compression ring and it will be on E85.
Here's what recently came in, Still have ACL Race rod bearings and thrust washers on the way and should be here monday, All bearing clearences were set with another set of main ACL HX bearings and rod ACL RACE, Have brand new sets to go in the block now.
Cometic lower end gasket set, ARP crank pulley bolt, Downstar oil pump and water pump bolts, ACL HX mains.

Re: KGP's Integra Build
May have missed it what manifold are you going to be running/going bigger then 38 to 44mm WG. Also has that moroso oil pan given you any issues? looking to grab one for my turbo B18C-R.

Re: KGP's Integra Build
As for the moroso oil pan, I havn't had any issues at all, It's the 5.5 quart pan with the baffle system/trap doors, oil return, port for oil temperature gauge etc. Never leaked or anything, Always worked great. Love it!

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Longblock is pretty much complete, Just need to swap cam seals, then adjust the valves with the new cams, Also have a Precision 600HP intercooler on the way. Should be in tomorrow, Next on the list is go-autoworks 2.5" intercooler piping and a Tial BOV, Then i'll have my current turbo setup with no ebay parts and all quality brand parts. Then i'll be focusing on getting a transmission ready for it. The stock crank pulley in the pic is not torqued down, I'll be using a ATI super damper. Just not installing it until final crank pulley install

Re: KGP's Integra Build
At this rate sometime before 2020 lol! I havn't driven it since 2012, Tore it down to build it back up since then, Then I got sidetracked since then, I bought a EG hatch I also been building, and then I bought another all original 1 owner black/black GSR in january, But now this car is my target again, I'm ready to finish it

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Got a mishimoto half size radiator and mishimoto radiator hoses, (I use to have a full size mishimoto radiator and mishimoto fans/mishimoto hoses. Then I put them on my other GSR because the radiator blew. wanted a half size anyways for when I get a top mount.)
Installed the crower stage 3 cams today and set the degree settings, All I need to do now is adjust the valves and throw the valve cover on it. (And remove my stock crank pulley for the ATI super damper!)

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Well I had some issues with tensioning the timing belt, I would turn the motor over and it would repeatedly jump teeth, I went and bought an oem tensioner bolt, and took out the ARP bolt. After the first try tensioning it with the stock bolt, It didn't jump teeth anymore and is properly tensioned, Now I redid the cam degree once again, And installed the ATI super damper, Need to get an impact and torque down the ARP crank pulley bolt and than I'll be able to adjust the valves and drop the valve cover on. Getting pretty close, I'm looking for a good GSR or B16 transmission atm. Got to go on a hunt through storage and find my intake manifold, clutch, etc...

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Should have pictures of my new transmission this coming week or next, I ordered a 98 spec 4.7 final drive type R transmission with a Wavetrac LSD from rameybuilt shop in VA. Also I'm missing or had some stuff stolen, So more of a delay coming, Missing my turbo manifold, turbo, intake manifold, throttle body, and injectors, I made some posts on local group on fb, If I don't find it. I will be getting skunk2 ultra series street manifold, skunk2 74mm throttle body, inline-pro t4 manifold, and borg warner s366
reasons for another log style manifold, inline-pro has been capable of 850+ horsepower and fits big turbos, It will use the tial 38mm wastegate I already own, and fit a big turbo I could also use on a top mount later on, My downpipe will already fit with slight modification, etc, It'd cost alot less for me right now than upgrading to top mount right now and get it running

Re: KGP's Integra Build
Absolutely 0 progress on the car just more parts added to the stock pile I got going.
Brand new borg warner S366 T4 twin scroll turbo, Dual Tial MVR 44mm wastegates, Sheepy up pipes. I was going to get the sheepy top mount with it but he sold it seperate I didn't get the money in time and someone else got the manifold. Will have to hunt for a manifold now.
