just making sure i didn't miss something. legend/nsx caliper upgrade
to do the nsx/legend two piston caliper upgrade on a dc2 i've found
1. i need to use my drill press on the stock prelude 4x114 rotors and make them 4x100. simple enough since the important part is the hub and is the same size.
2. nsx and 95+ legend calipers are the same? other than the logo and bolt up with roughly 3mm shaved from the bracket.
3. i will use the hawk hb143 pad which is a 92-96 prelude v-tec pad.
4. the calipers must be bled off the mount by using a wedge on the twin piston setup and the bleeder pointing north.
did i miss anything? i also have the feeling this isn't going to work with my 14" snow tires oh well.
the pads also list as:
1997-2001 Acura Integra Type R
1991-2004 Acura NSX
1998-2002 Honda Accord V6
1992-96 Honda Prelude V-TEC
this is what has me scratching my head. isn't the two piston legend caliper different? then again the 91+ nsx caliper i also thought was the same as the legend.

Re: just making sure i didn't miss something. legend/nsx caliper upgrade (idrivesideways)
I think the pads are different because the legend rotor is slightly thicker than the others. That being said, I'm using NSX pads and Legend rotors with NSX calipers and seems to be working just fine. Your list looks fine to me.
Also, if you end up getting NSX calipers and want a set of pre-shaved caliper brackets let me know. I had mine shaved down 3mm (on a mill, done the right way, no dremel) which worked perfectly on my GSR 4-lug setup. Then I switched to an ITR 5-lug and needed spacers to get the 3mm back! I'd like to run new brackets, but don't really want to pay for them. I'd like to trade mine for a set of un-modified ones.
Good luck with the brakes and enjoy the upgraded stopping!
Also, this should maybe go in the new 'brakes' section.
