yep thats me
all i say is that i'm fucked
yesterday when i was coming home the engine all of a suddem just cut off and the thing is that i was not even reving the engine at all
so i towed it back home last night like at 1 am
this morning i took apart the engine to find all this
i droped 2 valves and 1 cylender wall is cracked all the way down
i have 2 cracked in half retainers and a hole in the piston
the main thing here is that i did not rev the engine to anywhere close to redline
the engine just all of a sudden cut off
the timing bealt was still good and intacted
so what the hell do u guys think caused this tragedy
and the pistoon amashed the head
i'm at a compleat lost for words
anyways what do u guys at ht hear this i should do??????????

Damn.........
I really dont know either man.
You bought your car used right?
If yes, I bet the previous owner abused it like hell. I wish I could come up with a more acurate explanation.

Whoa, that look bad. What kind of motor is this. Get a used engine or do complete rebuild with custom block. Good luck and wish that the motor will bring back to life soon.

Ouch man.... Sorry to hear that.
Did you have enough coolant / oil?
I don't know, my first thought would be timing belt skipped, but I don't know. **** man.
Well, hopefully you can rebuild it faster and stronger.
Good luck.

Eventhough I hate this board I will put in my 2 cents. That really sucks I hate when bad thing's happen to good people but, lets try to figure this out shall we. Scenerio no1- The timing belt streched causing sopme valve to pistions issues. Or posibility no2- The tensioner loosed or failed causing the same thing. Ive seen both hapeen on the same motor at idle but since it was idle it wasnt a huge issue. If the motor was used theres a posibility the head was milled or the block was decked and the Tenisoner wasnt able to comensate that much. But thats just a couple of my ideas either was it sucks.

Any broken valvesprings? I dont know, but ive got a head that none of the valvesprings are broken, yet the valve just snapped in half...needless to say its not pretty either. Same cylinder too, whats up with that. #1 must have some design problem. Btw, sweet *** ride.
