There are 3 ECT switch/sensor/sending unit, the ECT switch controls the rad fan, the ECT sensor supplies ECU/ECM with engine temp., [most likely your problem] and the ECT sending unit, supplies the temp. gauge with engine temp. 94

Re: integra takes soooooo long to start
can someone explaint o me why would the ecu/ecm ect sensor would be my problem ? what does that have to do with a car taking soo long to start and if you press the gas the car dies you have to tap it to get it at high rpms for about 50 seconds than u can let it go and let it warm up so it can be normal

The ECT sensor supplies the ECU/ECM with engine temp. so the ECU/ECM can adjust A/F ratio, rich when cold and leaning it out as engine warms up.
If A/F is lean when starting cold starting will be hard but once warmed up, "after the car is warm it dosent do any of that".
This may or may not be your problem but it sure sounds like it, if it went the other way and A/F stayed rich, car would start with no problem but as it warmed up it would run like crap and your fuel milage would take a dump, [this problem is far more common]. 94

Re: integra takes soooooo long to start
after reading this, do you think this is why i have to hold my key turned longer then usual after letting it sit for more then 3 hours? all my fan switches have been cut(not by me) so my car is always cold, now because i have my fan direct so when my car start the fan kicks on....

There is only one ECT switch, it controls the rad fan relay, the OP is talking about the ECT sensor, it supplies ECU/ECM with engine temp.
There is also an ECT sending unit, it supplies info to the temp. gauge in the cluster.
If your engine is always cold, [not at proper operating temperature] that is a problem with the thermostat, not because the rad fan is running all the time.94
