hey just a quick question, does anyone know if the sunroof glass from a 92-95 civic coupe fits the rail on a 94+ teggy? my glass for some odd reason flew off on the highway and i'm having a hard time getting around trying to avoid rain. the rail on my sunroof got bent so also i guess if anyone knows if the rail hex bolts on the civic sunroof will line up with mine it would be very appreciated.

i had my sunroof serviced at a honda dealership, if that tells you anything. i have a buddy there that runs the service dept. and his boys took the whole thing apart and reassembled it.

well considering that all the parts on the integra say honda except the airbag and the emblems......

All the glass on the integra have honda printed on them, it doesn't mean that since you went to a honda dealership that they used the sunroof glass from a civic, just means that the glass is produced and available through them

no, try to get a unique acura part, like an integra front bumper, or an integra air bag. honda can't get it.

yeah, there are subtle differences in some of the parts, its just that i'm not sure if the 92-95 civic coupe sunroof and mine are the same, they measure the same, but there may be a different contour on the civic's. i'm just not sure, i called my Ac dealer but he wasnt sure, and honda wasnt picking up the phone. i've checked around the junkyards for one with no success with an exception for the civic sunroof, thats why i ask. through acura, just the glass and rail come up to about $800 so you would see where that info would be pretty important to me. if anyone knows the part numbers i guess that would be a start, thanks by the way.

well, i see them on here as whole packages with motor, rails, glass, cables, the whole shabang. they can't be more than $200. i thought i saw one go for $50.

damn another one? that sucks, I've heard of this a few times... makes me afraid to drive highway speeds w/ my sunroof open.

i can't imagine this is a normal occurance. maybe if your car is left outside all its life and the bolts and rails heat cycle or something, and moisturize out there.
