Integra GSR leaking oil problem

Integra GSR leaking oil problem
So ever since I've bought the car its leaked oil. I just got it fully rebuilt and it still continues to leak. I also just replaced the vtec solenoid gasket. It seems like there is a little bit of oil around the corner of the valve cover. I cant seem to find exactly where the oil is coming from but it is always over the "b18c1" and surrounding area, usually to the right of the transmission. I would say it is not a lot but it still bugs me and I want to fix it. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Integra GSR leaking oil problem
I'm having a very similar issue as you are on my '95 GSR. I just replaced the valve cover gasket, spark plug seals, vtec solenoid gasket (spool valve filter), cam seal, and dizzy o ring. I still leaks, not as much as it did but like you said its bothering me.
I noticed it there before but the engine stamp next to tranny like your photos, but now my leak is behind that area so im almost thinking in my case it could be my oil pan. Oil can move around and spread out it hard to tell really, i think i need to change my oil pan gasket next, im not sure what else to do. Good luck. If anyone could chime in that would be great?

You have to determine where the oil is coming from, its usually a few key spots that leak oil in that area. places to check,
distributor O ring is notorious for leaking and causing oil to collect there at the corner of the gasket.
Vtec solinoid gasket,
These are hard to get sealed especially using a skunk2 vtec solinoid, even when installing a new vtec solinoid gasket it can still leak, applying a thin layer of honda bond over the rubber gasket helps seal it.
cam cap,
these will also leak oil and collect oil in the corner apply a good amount of honda bond around the seal and install.
the valve cover gasket is also a common oil leak, ( i believe thats where your leak is coming from it looks wet on the corner!!)
to seal it good i always put a dab of honda bond on each corner of the valve cover gasket as well as the corners where it meets the cam caps on both ends.
Theres a small coper allan bolt on the side of the head under the distributor that can also leak mine was leaking not to long ago i removed it applied some honda bond and put it back in. i believe theres also another one on the back side of the head.
all in all its usually not the head gasket leaking in that corner, its gravity pulling the oil down from up top somewhere. GL

It could even be the ect sensor on the side of the head. Since your engine was rebuilt, maybe the builder didn't coat the threads with honda bond prior to reinstallation?
