A MM&Y of car would help??????
Sounds like the mode doors are not working, [inside the heater box] on most Honda/Acura the mode control motor and levers are on the left side of heater box, you can see it if you look up under the drivers side of dash, make sure no levers have "popped" out of one another and that the mode control motor runs all the way from one stop to the other stop.
Here is an "exploded" view of a 96 Integra heater box, in the center is the mode control motor, [#4] it is connected to all the levers, that are connected to each other, to the left of pic,

the mode control works perfect...i see everything move without any problems...could it be that the flappers are cracked?

If the flapper doors are letting air through, then you should be getting air out all vents all around, or at least some air. My money is something got disconnected and isn't letting the warm air through the heater core reach the center air ducts.
I would go ahead and pull the dash. I've done it twice in my car, and once in my old Camry, and it's really not THAT hard. It's just a pain trying to pull the thing by yourself. Make sure everything is disconnected, and get a friend to help you maneuver the thing in and out of the car. The dash itself is only held in with I believe 8 bolts/nuts:
- one behind radio
- one each side near fuse box and behind glovebox
- one each side behind little plastic panels you see when the doors are open
- one each side behind side window defroster vents
- one behind clock

Ditto the above^^^, time to pull the dash and heater box, it's not that hard, I can pull my 94 Teg dash in about .5 hr, [air tools and screw gun] another .5 to pull heater box and split it. 94

You have A/C? When I replaced my heater core I had the A/C discharged and the recharged afterwards because I thought the A/C evap box had to come out in order to get the heater core out (according to Helms). And indeed when working on it, it did appear that the heater box would not come out without first removing the A/C portion.

It is a little harder to do if you have A/C, but A/C evaporator and housing is a separate piece, that when unbolted from heater housing and blower housing can stay in place, no need to recover and recharge the A/C system. 94

You do not have to recover A/C refrigerant to pull the dash or the heater box, but if you want to check to see if there is any refrigerant in the system, just press in one of the schrader valves in either A/C service port, just like you would in a tire.
Avinash.pasula you may have the same problem, unless your CRV has duel zone heat, [left and right side] then it is a blendoor issue, [flaps]. 94
