Default Integra B18C, crank/start/ignition problem

When I start my car now I have to turn it and leave it in start position in the keyhole for it to finally crank and start. If I try to just start it, it will but then it dies right away.

I posted a video of me doing it.

Anybody have any idea what's going on, I don't think it's my battery because I just got a new one like a month ago.

Almost sounds like you have to wait for the fuel pump to prime for a bit before starting it. To me it Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. With my kill switch on my car it will do exactly the same thing like your car is doing when you start it and dies right after.

check spark when the problem occurs. could be a weak coil.
if not, try hooking up a fuel gauge and see where you're at

If I understand you, the engine turns over, [cranks] when you turn ign. key to start and fires, [starts] but as soon as you let the ign. key go to the run position the engine stops running, if so...
Check your ign. switch...

I'm betting it is the ignition switch. As these honda/acura age, the contacts in the ignition switch wear out to a degree that after you let go of the key it will not have a solid contact that will complete the circuit. Either go buy another ignition switch at the stealership or aftermarket ie; kragen, autozone, etc.. I went on ebay and got a honda oem piece for roughly $50 bucks. Easy to install (10 mins max)
