Indiglo Gauge installation
when you put these things on, do you just put them over the existing face. How do you run the wires from the gauge face. Do you need to make a hole behind it, which will destroy the existing face right?
Basically i am asking how do install these things without ******* up my car, just incase i want to remove them.

Re: Indiglo Gauge installation (SlowazzGSR)
all i gotta say is BE CAREFUL with them...it is sooo easy to break your stock needles. That is why my indiglos have been sitting in the box for 7 months now. I don't trust anyone enough to pull my cluster apart. Plus I don't want problems later with someone tryign to accuse me of going in there to roll back the odometer. But BE CAREFUL. There are step by step directions on how to do the install in the box though. If yours didn't come with them, let me know...I can show you mine.

you will have to use a doulbe sided tape or glue to hold them in position. sometimes the gauges sticks up, disable the needle or cause the needle to perform incorrectly depends on the size, but seriously i love the stock gauges.

Oh no, another ricer made his way onto H-T. Heres what you need to do with the indiglos. First unpack them, then look at them and ask yourself why the hell you have them. After that is completed repack them, send them back, get a refund and get something worthwhile<---This does not include windshield wiper lights or Pep boys Exhaust. Take this post seriously it will save you lots of grief

Re: Indiglo Gauge installation (KILLERB18)
i hate it when people **** on others. why do you give a **** if someone likes something you dont? dont you have better things to worry about?
if you want to take off your needles for ease of install just mark their locations. let your car idle for 2 cycles and mark the position of the tach on the face plate. mark the fuel and temp too. as for the spedo, try to set the cruise and then re-engauge it and put the needle back in when at speed. you could also match someone else's speed while driving or note what speed you are going in what gear at what rpm. its not too hard to get the needles in place again.
