How to tell a USDM tranny from a JDM transmission??
Need a little help telling the difference between USDM and JDM
im buying a S1 transmission, dont kno if its the
JDM S1 (90-91 Integra RSi/XSi) or USDM S1 (90-93 Integra Rs/Ls/Gs).
all i kno is its Cable. and no Vin (probably bcuz its hella old) and not stolen.
It does have a Scan Code. but i dont kno how to "decode it"
i can tell the diff between a jdm block and usdm block but how about transmission?

only way to tell is by driving on it. the cable trans were done wierd.
the 92-93 YS1s are identical looking but one has the short gs-r gears and one has the long LS gears.
S1s are the same way. 90-91 US are all long geared while the JDM versions can be either.
So you're out of luck.
