I'm no guru, but I would bet a legit Mugen VC is made of higher quality materials and the craftsmanship is obviously to the highest degree. $900 for a VC would be ridiculous on, say, my ls/v that needs cv axles, brakes, has a dash that rattles, leaky rear glass, etc. But if everything else is good, bills are paid, food in the fridge and gas in the tank, yeah grab the Mugen

$900 or $25, I know I can find a much better place to spend $875 on my 94LS then a Pimp My Ride VC, just my $0.02.

The value of these covers have gone WAY up. BNIB I have seen fetch $2K from HMO, and most covers are selling around $1000-$1500 based on condition outside the box.
I actually have one for sale but then all these stupid kids are posting eBay links to the fakes saying why should I pay $1300 when I can spend $120. Apparently trying to explain the concept of rare and collectable parts to them is damn near impossible.

I just bought a b18c with a mugen valve cover it's legit according to your pictures and comments I'll gladly sell it since I'm going turbo and I bet everyone would cry if I welded two 10an bungs into it for a catch can I'm from Florida will ship it
