I decided I must replace the hard line or at least add a small flexible line because the s2k's line goes in at a different angle so the hard lines wont reach.

i got this braided line:
Amazon.com: MAP Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Line for 1992-00 Honda Civic / Acura Integra: Automotive Amazon.com: MAP Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Line for 1992-00 Honda Civic / Acura Integra: Automotive

Omni just sends you this, no bottle or reservoir. i guess it is just a little cup, but i need a reservoir/bottle with a lid to keep out dirt. Omni s2k looks like i could maybe fit my old reservoir in there, but not sure.

Need that gasket too.

auto parts store don't sell just the reservoir, you would have to buy the whole cmc for a 2000 civic? if so i will go to a junkyard, but i will try to get the 95 civic cmc reservoir on there. jw if anyone knew what to do here. I will email omni-power about it but i already see the dont offer any reservoirs. Could that checkered auto parts or someone here on hondatech hook me up?

I put the omni-power s2k quick clutch (pictured above) on today using this walkthrough. Did slave cylinder first for heck of it.

Problems i had with cmc part:

removing the old cmc is hard if you don't have a deep well 12mm socket or a short spanner or flexible wrench you had, its tight down there, but luckily my nut wasn't on too tight and i got it off.

i didn't have to file or grind anything off to make the clutch line fittings fit. However i had to put the line on the cmc BEFORE i installed the cmc, because of the space issue.

I used liquid gasket maker to replace the gasket. IS THAT GONNA BE OK?

i just left the old lines on for now. the new line i got from amazon was a little short but i got it to reach to the slave. However its going under the intake manifold, then kinda tight against the coolant hoses back there that area gets so hot i cant hold my hand on it but that lines is resting on it. i just need it to be a little longer/farther away from there, i need the shortest extension. Or maybe do you think that line is so tough it wont melt or be affected? The DIY didn't really state WHERE/how HE RE-ROUTED THE NEW LINE?

I removed the old reservoir off the old cmc. I took a hot knife and cut the bottom of it out, and cut the hard plastic nipple off the bottom too. so it looked just like the s2k cmc reservoir. but then i had to use the dremel and grind/file it until it fit over my s2k cmc. it was a snug fit. as good as it could be. BUT IT LEAKS 1 drip per 5 seconds. I tried to stop the leak with a stainless steel hose clamp that tightens with a screw but ITS STILL LEAKING AT THIS TIME. I'm gonna look for some hose clamps that are more like what you guys have in this picture, I'm gonna email those checkered people about this because i'd still like to have a new/correct reservoir.

It feels stiffer. I have my clutch pedal height adjuster bolt screwed all the way down as close to floor as it can get, and i'd still like it to go a little lower but i think that's because my clutch itself is getting old, or i need to bleed it a little more. . To get it to switch gears, i only have to press clutch down like an inch. Its crazy. Gonna take a while to get used to. Kinda can't wait till this clutch burns out so I can feel what a fresh one feels like with the s2k.

Now my clutch has totally bled all the air out and i have had to adjust my clutch pedal height adjuster bolt all the way up and the clutch still wants to go up higher. I am losing power or something because the clutch cant fully engage/disengage.

So to fix that, i moved the nut back on the cmc where it grabs your pedal, Now all is well, and this is awesome how it shifts. Hoping that clutch line doesn't melt as it is routed by a hot part, so far so good.

I heard if you get a stage 2 or higher clutch with this omni-power cmc though, it is not ideal.

i think my clutch fluid is turning black because that line is too close to the engine and its heating the fluid. So i am ordering a second line so that i can route it the same way as the old line, or damn near.

k i started looking down at my pedals more and my pedal is too high. i looked up in the

92-95 service manual and it says clutch pedal height should be 6.46" and 96-00 says 6.5" from the floor.

Stroke at Pedal
for the for 92-95 should be 5.31 - 5.71". for 96-00 it should be 5.12 - 5.51"

and to start the car you have to press it way down like 3" from floor of course but shouldnt have to mess with that setting i assume.

sometimes i feel like i need the spacer. i've removed the lock nut on the cmc and just turned the pushrod on the cmc all the way in so it comes in towards the rear of the car as much as possible and this gets my pedal lower to where its in spec. Also i can compare the old cmc pushrod length and where the threads stop with the s2k cmc, now that i know more of what to look for.

i may get the spacer, or add threads to the s2k cmc because the way they measure Clutch Pedal Height is like at a certain angle in the picture that is not real life so im not sure if im getting an accurate measurement but i suspect i need a little more space to eliminate the possibility.

This and your old clutch line are probably causing your fluid ito turn black. Before adjusting clutch pedal points, I would fix the reservoir issue you had and make sure no leaks are present.

The spacer will help, or you can go to home depot and buy those washers.

Oh thanks i forgot to mention i fixed that slow leak with a second hose clamp. And I got new clutch lines when i started this diy. I got two and a connector so it is a long line and not routed near any hot parts. The fluid looks better now, still kinda dark but i also switched from any old dot 3 brake fluid to Honda Genuine Brake Fluid so it may look darker.. but about setting that cmc...

I took 10 washers and put 4 of them on each side of the cmc because when i re-compared the old cmc and the s2k cmc, i noticed one WAS longer than the other so i got them to be same lengths when installed, and got my clutch to exactly 6.5 inches off the floor by turning the cmc pushrod, but it was so low that i couldnt even have that little bit of free play, and during test drive when i was gunning it up a steep hill like maybe clutch isnt engaging fully engaging and it i wasnt getting full power... so when i re-set the clutch, i let it come up just high enough so that it would have the little bit of free play, so that i knew it was fully engaging i hope...and it does seem to drive much better now but still need to test on steep hill. when i measure clutch pedal height its still at 6.5 but i still think that measurement is a little relative? Plus service manual says: the clutch is self-adjusting to compensate for wear. so what exactly does it self-adjust?, still gonna get the spacer so i can have a good seal.
