how much should it cost to install itr cams, itr dual valve springs, itr retainers???
ok today i went to a local tuner shop to get a quote on how much it will cost to install my itr cams, itr dual valve springs and itr retainers. what the guy quoted me was $350 and to me that seems high. anyone here ever paid anyone to install their valvetrian and for how much or how much should i be paying for them to install it? i know it's pretty straight forward but i just dont got the tools and if i had someone who can guide me through it im pretty sure i can do it but i rather get it professionally installed.
***just replaced all seals, gasket, head gasket like 7k miles ago so im pretty sure i dont need those parts replaced.

^why would you need to replace the head gasket? just wondering. you don't have to remove the head to do all this, do you?

Hmm, 350 isn't bad, you might as well get your head cleaned and resurfaced with new valves and gaskets. Depends on you mileage I guess. Who is your "local tuner"? I jut got my head refresh with new intake valves/guides including labor for $500. I still have to get my gaskets though. But hey, it's a new head with new valve train.
