I wanna paint my car type-r yellow with a comptech lip and MAYBE a ITR wing, so now much paint will I need? 2 quarts? also will I need hardner with oem honda paint?

depends... (don't know how much it cost for "phoenix yellow") but i would guess around $5 grand +/- a few $100

A GRIP. Unless you have sposors like me that do it for free. (Paint-n-Place in OC) Close to a gallon on a 2 door. And you need more than paint. Paint, reducers, hardners, etc...

4 to 5 Qts for a 2 stage paint job. (with clearcoat) Also factor in the type of paint that you will use. I use STANDOX on all my customers cars. Check out my site.

I don't remember I think I used 2 quarts of paint, 5 quarts of clear? I think my gun holds 1 quart of.. liquid, and that's how much coats i used.. so.. yeah.

1-1.5 gallons sprayable (after reduction) is fine if you're just spraying the outside of the car in one go, but if you plan on doing the insides of the door panels, door jabs, engine bay, etc. then get an extra quart or two.

Too much is better than not enough, if you spray the car, run out, and order more you'll have to blend the panels since the color will vary slightly. If your paint comes in multiple cans make sure to mix it all together in a big bucket before you spray, otherwise it won't match perfectly. A cheap 5 gallon bucket with a lid works good for this.

For the clear coat, the quantities are about the same.

Nothing worthwhile comes in a rattle can. If you're going to use that garbage, it'll probably take 10-15 cans, which is about 1-1.5 gallons. But it doesn't matter because you can always stop and go buy more.

Depends on the color your spraying and the current color of the car undergroundtrev.
Same color, just repsray. 1 gallon of RTS paint. Or 2 quarts of paint that mixes 1:1(1gallon total)
Spraying differnt color, 1.5 gallons RTS paint or 3 quarts of paint that mix 1:1.
1 gallon of clear.
Also depends as said above, it will bary if your painting just the car body or inside also.
My numbers are given from just spraying the body.

It took 2 gal. to paint my 94 RS, 2 door, we did the door jambs, and inside door panels, not much more then a drop left over. 94

depends if you plan on laying primer or if you're just gonna sand and paint.
