disconnect the battery, turn the key to ON, turn if OFF, connect it again. if your CD player spits out the CD, you know you did it right.

all in 10 seconds.

If reseting you ecu doesnt seem to help just remove you cluster and remove the bulb. Only do this if you know exactly what the check engine light is from. This is truely a ghetto fix.

diagnose the problem reported, fix it.. then reset the ECU...

For the lazy out there... if youre just concerned with turning off the light, you an always yank the dash and pull the bulb.

i pulled the bulb...every week or so i plug it back in and pull codes to see if theres anything new

is the light that annoying. if it were me i would just let it stay lit and check everyweek.

Pretty sure theres a fuse u can pull out for 10 seconds then replace which resets the ecu. Cant remember which 1 though sorry...... Try pulling them all!
