i just insert the wire into one end of the fust holder, and stick the fuse in on top of it...
BUT who knows if this is good or not its just how i do it

you can buy this adapter thing at pep boys or other local auto parts store. basically, you take out an existing fuse, insert the adapter and it has slots for 2 fuses. i did this to hard wire a radar to my car w/out splicing

Get the fuse splicer as mentioned above (under $3.00 at an autoparts store) ... it plugs into an existing fuse and provides 2 fuses on the other end ... 1 for the stock fuse location and a 2nd to the new wire that you are adding with a lead wire which you can connect your stuff to... it's the cleanest way to do it...
You can also just remove the desired fuse, wrap a wire around one of the fuse blades (ensuring the wire ONLY touches ONE of the blades) and re-insert the fuse.... this is more of a rig, but if done properly, it is easy, cheep and works. The only downside to this method is that you will need to use a high gauge (thinner) wire so it will fit 14 + gauge...
