horn replacement?
I honked my girlfriends 1998 Honda Accord EX's horn and it sounds way better than my GSR horn. Do you think I can get a Honda Accord horn and plug it in my car?

Re: horn replacement? (Mugenblkgsr2000)
When I bought my car, the previous owner was an old man who drives slow but gets irritated easily. So to express himself, he bought an air horn. Now my car has the stock horn and an extra pair of air horns.....
Oh, its funny when everyone starts beeping in an undergrund carpark. As soon as I join in, they pause for like 5 seconds then beep again

Get a Ford full sized truch horn, or BMW horn if you can find it. Could probably get the Ford one for CHEAP from a wrecking yard.

yo dude I put air horns on and hooked it up to the relay of the stock one, so I wouldn't need a seperate button. Yo, you get heads to turn and ppl to get the hell outta the way of ya! lol

Actually, you don't have to cut a thing. I just shoved some wire into the harness on the stock wire...completely reversable. I just drilled 2 holes inside the fender's cross-brace, which is completely invisible unless you removed the fenderwell liner and looked up.

i installed air horns that sound along w/ my factory horn.. when i press the horn switch to honk people it is LOUD...
i also hooked up the air horns to my alarm (needed another relay since alarm output is -).. so when my alarm goes off the air horns and siren goes off too...
much better than the wimpy stock horn..
