It's not too hard. I know you have to grind down one edge of the top of the new studs to get them in easier. Otherwise, removing the hub would be your best bet.

if you grind some of the spindle/hub area behind the brake shield on the side facing the door, it gives u just enough room to slide a new one in w.o grinding the stud, theres and article somewhere ill find it.

ok well i just got back from looking at it and the notch idea seems good but i dont know what tool would best suite to make suck a notch. i can see using an angle grinder but im affraid that i would take to much out of it and it would throw it off balance? is that possible.. i also got a hub puller from autozone i think i wanna try it that way but im not 100 percent on it. do i just leave the axle nut on and go ahead and just start pulling the hub off? and more in depth ideas would be great. im broke lol and he is paying good to have this job done by tommorow the latest so any and all advice would be awesome

You'll want to remove the axle nut. You'll yank the outboard joint out with it if you leave the nut on.

I removed the drive shaft when I did mine just so that it wouldn't hang up on the splines.

so if you remove the nut then what holds the hub down from pushing out? the kid tried to do it without me there and used the puller on it and it just pushed the axle threw the hub and the hub stayed firms as can be

I didn't use a puller. I used a slide hammer with that puller adapter that you have.

ok i can see that, im not sure you would adapte a slide hammer with the hub puller but i can take a look at it. also another friend of mine said that you can take a socket that fits and place it on the inner ring of where the axle splines are and hit that with a hammer untill the hub pops off, are you familiar with that technic?
