Help CEL code 9
My cel came on earlier this week so i ran the diagnostics and it came out to be code nine, cylinder position sensor. I keep reading that its in the dizzy and thats the only way to replace it being if you dont have any spare ones around. Heres the thing thou with the cel being there my car still runs fine and i see no difference in performance. I already cleared the code and it came back twice. Im kind of tight with cash right now and dizzy run a premium at race wars lol. So is it alright to just drive my car like this for now or should i replace it. Or what could be setting that code off, any way to troubleshoot it? I dont want to buy a dizzy and it doesnt fix my issue.
Also my dizzy has been making a grinding noise in there for quite some time now.
All stock ls motor

Interesting i ran an ohms test for all the sensors in the dizzy and they all came out to be in spec, car still runs fine. Not sure if i should buy another dizzy or wait it out.

just replace the distributer it's 100$ or find a used one for 40$ or so I had that code once, removed the CYP and re screw it down and made sure the little nib on the wheel was making proper contact with the censor.

What model and year?
If you've got a '96 or newer, you should report the OBD-II DTC, which will be something like "P0xxx" or P1xxx". This can give more information than the old MIL-flash code.
