i did once when i chipped my ECU with a crappy 20 dollar Chip on ebay i hooked the jumper up wrong and it wouldnt rev past 3000 rpm but thats probably not the case in your situation is your check engine light coming on?

check your timing and check your firing order with the spark plug wires from the dizzy if your firing order is off that could be the problem

There's your problem. Ebay chips suck.

yeah the Ebay chip is most likely your problem see if u cant take it off mine just fell off since i suck at soldering lol but make sure u take off the jumpers and things that come with the chip
My problem was the jumper was soldered to the wrong hole, i fixed it and it ran fine ever since
