ok so i've serched and read the posts that people have made about this and checked those things but they all check out cool.

While i am driving my car (95 Integra), it will produce this constant "thump thump thump" sound from the front right suspension area. i can also feel each of the "thump thumps" in the floorboard on that side. it is audible at low speeds, but most audible at speeds above 25 or 30 mph, and the speed of the thump increases as the mph increase. the noise STOPS when i make right turns though which i don't get. it still makes the noise when i make left turns.

I've changed my right axle thinking that was the problem (it did have a small rip in the inboard cv boot), but the noise still persisted. i've checked the brake pads and they are not abnormaly worn so they checked out. i've tried to pull up, down and side to side on my wheel and there isn't any play with the wheel bearing. so im stumped.

What do you all think the problem is?? i still think it may be something in the wheel bearing thats wrong and causing the thump. please helo me out as i have been fighting this for a while. Thanks!

i have the same problem. its ur ball joint.

really? which ball joint? tie-rod, upper control arm, the one going into the lower control arm?

I dont know, i havnt fix my problem yet. i still have a check engine light to work with, a header mount rubbing my intermediate shaft, and my flywheel cover not fitting cuz the L-bracket is in the way.

but yeah, it sounds horible especially early in the morning when its cold and whenever i hit a small bump and uneven road.

i think we need to get this taken car of, cuz some people have there wheel actually slanted off and undrivebale because of a bad ball joint. looksl ike the wheel just broke off.

ok so my brother works at Acura (what a coincidence), and he had a tech look at it today, turns out it is my axle! although i just bought my axle he said it wasn't a good remanufacture, so he suggested i go get another and see how the fitment is on it, he suggested kragen. if good my problem should be solved. where does everyone else usualy get their remans?

i also complained to the shop that the raman axle was bad, but they said no, the axle is good, cuz if ur axle are bad, then it would make a noise when ur turn the steering wheel.

so, im still thinking its the ball joint on my car.

deng, i changed my knuckle assymbly today with a new bearing in it and it is NOISE FREE!! i think the bearing was dry inside i dunno. thanx for all who inputed. cnaman you might wanna check out your bearing if you are having the same problem as me it may help you out
