h22 into dc2 motor mount problem
ok heres the deal, ordered a set of mounts from B18TurboEF for my h22 into my dc2. Now the rear mount and timing side bolt up perfectly fine but my tranny side is off by about a couple inches... the motor is a 92 with lsd tranny? but no clue as to year of tranny? thinking it might be off a accord? not sure.. anyone ever have this problem? will have a few pics of it tommorow

Re: h22 into dc2 motor mount problem (super_mut)
do you mean that the engine mount fits in the car mount just over to the left too much?
thats where the drill comes into play.
I believe with most of the h22 kits you have to cut a portion off the end of the mount and also you have to drill a new hole in the mount maybe?

You need to figure out what mount kit you have. If it's an HCP kit you need to modify the frame rail tranny bracket by drilling a hole and cutting 1" off the rear leg of the mount.

I know its a lsd tranny, I'm thinking it might be the accord r tranny? if so could this make it off a tad?
