Icon2 GSR w/ B16A2 needs ECU?

I just currently bought a super clean 92 Integra GSR with a B16A2 swap, one of the first things i did before I drove it home was check the ecu, I do believe it has a stock GSR ECU. If I were to change it, without altering the obd1, what would be the best choice for me? P61 maybe?

Would that be more effeciant than the GSR ecu the vehicle originally came with in 92, it was a 1.8 vtec. Do you guys reccommend a chiped ecu

You could look for the obd0 b16 ecu or get a chipped obd1 ecu which would require a obd0 to obd1 ecu conversion harness. The GSR ecu is only meant for a GSR

Whats wrong with the ecu thats in your car now?? The 92 GSR came with the 1.7 liter motor, not 1.8. It was essentially a B16 in it from the factory.

The stock GSR ECU is a P61

What Si ECU? The only US Si that had the B16A was 99-00 and its OBD2, and you don't want to convert to OBD2.

The 92 GSR was a 1.7 liter. Pretty much the same engine essentially as the B16A.

No keep the P61 ECU you have, if indeed that is the ECU you have.

No the 92-93 Integra is OBD1 already and you def don't want to convert back to OBD0. The P61 will be fine for the B16A.

I never said to convert back to obd0. I was referring if his car was obd0 then he would need to convert it to obd1.

Makes no sense how does a 92 GSR come with a 1.7 but with a 1.6 ecu?

keep the b17 ecu and chip it in the future to whatever base map you want, pertaining to the specific build you want to do

I was just referring to Si not having the B16A, yes the Del Sol came with the B16A as an option but not the Si.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CR-X_del_Sol

The ECU was the P30, OBD1 version which would work as well, but he'll be perfectly fine with the P61.
