Default GSR valve adjustment

I will be doing a valve adjustment on my GSR later this week and I plan to follow the c-speed article. The article mentions that a modified wrench can be used to do the job. For all the people that used a modified wrench, did you guys heat up the wrench and then bent it? or did you simply just bend the wrench into shape.....

thanks

you must be one strong sonofabitch to bend a wrench without heating it up

isn't there a tool on amazon for valve adjustments so you don't need to do this?

There is a special tool for the job, but the adjustment can be performed using just a regular wrench, a screwdriver, and a feeler gauge.
