Gsr transmission install
I just changed the clutch in my 98 gsr and after getting everything back together I realized that the axles spin while the transmission is in gear.
I have done cv axles before so I know how to seat the passenger axle, does the intermediate shaft seat or just slide in? I tried to seat it and it seemed as if it couldn't move any further.
Would a lack of MTF allow the axles to spin while in gear? The trans sat for a bout a week empty while I waited for parts. Right before I checked to see if the axles spun in gear I filled it up with about 2 1/2 qts of honda MTF.
Is it possible for the input shaft to miss the crank? I torqued the bell housing and nothing seemed to be out of place.
Thanks for the help.
