GSR not getting spark
Well my buddy picked up a 95 GSR with a B18C in it the other day. We compression tested the car, and after we were done we could not get any spark. We are definitely getting fuel, but we are not getting any spark.
The coils in the distributor tested good and the ignition control module tested good as well. We still have to make sure the distributor is getting power from the ECU.
Its not timing related, the rotor turns when you turn the car over. It will just keep turning over but wont crank. The cap and rotor look to be in good shape as well.
Anyone have any ideas?

Yep. Cranked right up and drove great before the compression test. I had personally driven it 4 times, and he said it NEVER gave him trouble before the test.

If your compression test was good I wouldnt worry about the timing belt. I had my dizzy go on me with no prior warning, just cut out like a switch on me one day while driving. The sensor inside the dizzy for the cam position went bad. It could have happened when you were cranking over the motor on the compression test. What did you do to dissable fuel for the compression test?

Mrdeadman- Yes the rotor turns. I covered that in the original post ;-)
blkb18: We didnt do anything to disable fuel for the test. We didnt even unplug the dizzy. I told him we should unplug the dizzy just to be safe and he said we didnt need to, we could just pull all the wires and it wouldnt crank (obviously). But I am wondering if we did any damage to the dizzy by not unplugging it.
And compression was right around 180 all the way across, give or take 3psi or so.

Re: GSR not getting spark
I dont think you damaged anything by doing that. Your numbers may be a bit higher than they should be because of the fuel you allowed to spray in the cylinder. You sort of did a wet test.
