Gear engaging help
About a month ago, i picked up a 92 gsr. after the first week of owning it, i took it on a road trip about an hour away and noticed that it was kinda hard to get into third. soon after, one day i was engage vtec in 1st and 2nd gear and then it wouldn't go into third and my clutch pedal was dead, meaning, i couldn't put it in gear. I turned off the car and put it into first and started the car and i could drive the car again. I came home and adjusted the clutch cable. It helped a litte. Well the problem persisted, and i changed the tranny fluid with some sychromesh. it has been a lot smoother, but then a few days ago, sometimes the clutch pedal would shake and the pedal seemed really rough when i stepped on it. i still had trouble getting into 3rd sometimes especially at high rpms. i got rid of the grind though. anyways the other day, i engaged vtec again 1st and 2nd gear and then when i put it into 3rd, the pedal went dead again. the car wouldn't go at all and i couldn't engage into any gears. well i left my car on the streets for a few hours while i went to school and dad went out to check the car and it drove home fine. he adjusted the cable again..so i don't know whats the problem. also, sometimes, the pedal feels like it sticks to the ground. please help me out!

Re: Gear engaging help (ntegrals)
It sounds like your clutch is the main culprit here. You may need a new cable. The worse case is that your clutch is going bad.
