yeah.. that really pisses me off about my teg.. my passenger can never use the cupholder cause its blocked cause of my radar detector needing to be plugged in, but oh well, its the problem doesnt interfere with my cup holder so its not too bad iguess.

it looks like the cupholders get in the way of the coin tray/ashtray and the cigarette lighter...do they?

they used those same cup holders/coin trays from like 90-95. Had a lot of friends that owned various years of taruses that had those.

does it get in the way of the coin holder?? i bought these .99 cup holders from Target and clipped them on to my glove compartment... works great

yeah i have the RubberQueen cup n can thing right now, it works nice, u just put the flap into where ur cd player goes, but it makes the cd player fall out sometimes, and if u have a big drink you kinda have to hold it sometimes

Those work, but they are pretty annoying. I pulled one of those cupholders from a 1996 Taurus, you just have to look around the local junkyard. I might still have it in the garage, but it has a slight crack in it. PM me if you're interested, I've abandoned the project and just put a useless stuff-holding tray instead.

I would love to have factory style cupholders.. i just wedge the cup between the e-brake and passenger seat right now..

same here. I have a 91 taurus and an integra too. Never occured to me.

It doesn't interfere with shipping but I've been told it's on a slight angle when installed, so the drinks don't sit perfect. I never got around to installing mine but the procedure seems pretty straight forward. There's a little trimming to be done and I'm pretty sure there's an article on g2ic.com that outlines everything step-by-step. Personally I just buy big enough cups to wedge between the seat and the e-brake, I've been doin that for years!
