Stock b18a1 egr?

Hello my friend has a 91 db1 and I was wondering if those come with an egr? I heard they do not in the manuals, but do for the automatics? Sorry about this question but I need someone to clarify this. Thanks!

egr valves only came on automatic b18a1

EGR was installed only on engines originally installed with automatic transmissions.

Manual-tranny cars did not have EGR. My '91 5-speed does not have EGR.

EGR is a fudge-fix for high NOx emissions. It was first installed in the early-'70s.
It was stupid then and it's stupid now.
