Default engine flush is it safe?

since im about to try amsoil. wondering if i did the amsoil engine flush..will it be safe to do it at 111K miles..? do you think it will cause leakage some where?...need ur input amsoil site recommend an engine flush b4 using there oils

Didn't you post in an earlier thread that you used Mobil1? If so, you're already running a synthetic oil, so I doubt you will cause any seal leakage by flushing with AutoRX or any other engine 'flush' kit. The whole idea behind it is to clear out any sludge buildup, and if that causes burning or leaking, you should wait it out for a little while, keep topping off your oil, until the consumption minimizes itself. I was able to switch to synth on a 13 year old car with 140k miles, it consumed about a quart every 5,000 miles for a couple months, but it leveled off. I think you should be safe as well.
