ENERGY SUSPENSION ball joint dust boots
hey.. i had a question about the ball joint dust boots..
on my 94 integra gsr..i didnt have a impact gun so i had to pinch the dust boot with pliers to tighten, so they ripped.. i ordered some Energy suspension dust boots.. but the mechanical i went to said that they would not keep the ball joint lubed becausee there is not a clip on it as the OEM dustboots do..
is he wrong? because i ordered some specific dust boots, but he said they wouldnt hold up

umm yea, stock rubber ball joint boots don't have any provision for adding grease, either, unless you remove them.
But don't use ES boots. They tend to leak, which will kill the ball joint in a short amount of time. Use stock rubber boots.
